At Lattice, I joined a product team when the company was still small (around 30 people; 6 engineers), and helped build projects to help land more enterprise-level companies.
Roles and Permissions was one such project, where I and one other engineer were tasked with auditing the entire codebase and role-based access control (RBAC) for all data models in the app. It was no small feat and the effort was months long. We ended up building something solid, secure, and robust, providing a foundation for additional features into the future.
We celebrated shipping the project with an informal release party at the Tonga Room in San Francisco.
